Social skills programs

Social skills programs will break down specific complex social skills( such as: taking turns, conversation,sharing,joining a group,working with others towards a common goal,understanding facial expressions,tone of voice,etc.) Into smaller components and then teach those components systematically. Transition program focuses on several social skills necessary for transitioning, such as: Following group instructions,completing independent activities, learning new skills in a group environments.

Functional skills

Functional skills are the skills that are necessary for daily living and for establishing quality of life. These are the skills that if not done by an individual him or herself, others will have to do. They are skills that are useful and can be immediately applied to the individual's environment.

School Readiness

Developing school readiness skills is among the most common goals for parents of children with autism. ABA therapy can help prepare children behaviors that are needed to be ready for school. to transition into a traditional classroom experience by increasing or improving desired

Skills that ABA therapy teaches to prepare a child for school include:
    Tolerance to staying seated during academic tasks
    Participating in group activities such as circle time, music, art, dance
    Following instructions
    Task completion
    Paying attention
    Lining up with peers
    Responding to peer requests to play
    Awareness of personal space
    Independent and group play skills
    Learning in a group environment with distractions
    Transitioning from preferred (recess) to non-preferred educational tasks

Transition program

Transition program focuses on several social skills necessary for transitioning, such as: Following group instructions, completing independent activities, learning new skills in a group environment, and responding in group learning environments.

Early interventions

Early intervention refers to programs designed to begin before age 4 yrs. program In early Intervention program we help children with Autism and other developmental Disabilities to learn age appropriate and developmentally appropriate language and learning skills.There is a strong evidence that the early the interventions are implemented there is more scope of learning and improving skills.’

Comprehensive Assessment

  •  A comprehensive  assessment  for every area of development is done for the individual before beginning the Thearapy.These assessments provide information about the skills individuals have acquired as well as what skills should be learned next.Assessments are done to find out the root cause of challenging behaviors.
  • Based on the information from these  assessments  appropriate interventions are selected and Individualized treatment plan is designed.

      for non verbal children behavior is a way of communicating wants and needs.
      we use functional communication training to teach children appropriate ways to communicate and replace the inappropriate and aggressive behaviors.

Parent training

At yaadha ABA center Parental involvement is key in the therapy.
we schedule meetings and consultations with families to Train them and to discuss their childs programs and progress.
Research has shown that when parents are involved in ABA therapy ,outcomes are more positive.
The main goal of training Parents is for generalization of the acuired skills
